MUNCIE, Ind. — Myron Joseph “Max” Davis, a 24-year-old Fairmount, Indiana, man remembered for his service, kindness, loyalty, and adventurous spirit, passed away on August 31, 2026.
Davis was born on December 4, 2001, in Muncie, Indiana. His unexpected passing has left family, friends, coworkers, and members of the community mourning a young man whose life was marked by meaningful relationships, dedication, and a love for adventure.

Funeral Services for Max Davis
Family, friends, and members of the community will have an opportunity to gather and honor Max’s life during scheduled visitation and funeral services.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yorktown Methodist Church, 2301 S. Broadway St., Yorktown, Indiana.
Additional visitation will take place Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at Yorktown Methodist Church.
Burial will take place afterward at Elm Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie, Indiana.
The services will give those who knew Max an opportunity to come together, offer support to his family, and celebrate the life he lived.
